Welcome To The Resistance

If you're here: Congratulations! You are one of the very few Americans that are "in the know" about the upcoming Zombpocalypse. You are also concerned, and that's where the Macabre Militia steps in.

The Macabre Militia was started on April 29th, 2009 during the 2009 swine flu outbreak. The epidemic alarmed many people in the Coachella Valley due to our area. We're very close to the border of Mexico. With most of the valley's population being Hispanic heavy, we decided to keep a vigilant eye out for any suspicious activity.

As we talked about the disease, we began receiving tips from anonymous sources that the virus could have, in fact, been man-made. Fearing that the virus could potentially lead up to the impending Zombpocalypse, we began to shift our focus from becoming vigilant to becoming heavily armed.

Where do you, our reader, come in? Well, we need soldiers. Troops to ready for war. Our headquarters are based here in the Desert, a prime area for a Zombpocalypse stand-off: nearby Army base, small populated town, and desert conditions that could very well encumber zombies. As such, this division is the Macabre Militia, Desert Chapter [MMDC]. We need to expand and create more chapters of troops keeping an eye on other areas our headquarters cannot monitor.

So how do you enlist?

You can send us an email or @reply our Twitter account with your name, location, email, alias, special skills, and a brief description as to why you'd like to join. After a screening process, you'll be assigned to a unit and send classified information via email. After a probation period, you'll be assigned dog tags to identify you as a part of the Militia.

In the meantime, you can help us by collecting info and sending it to us via email or @reply to our Twitter account. As of today, the World Health Organization began to call swine flu influenza A (H1N1). Here at Macabre, we recognize any new epidemic as the T-Virus. We hashtag all our reports of potential Zombie-inducing diseases with #Tvirus, so please be sure to do the same in your field report.

We'll release more info as we move forward. For now, stay vigilant and strong. Our Twitter account releases outbreak news as it happens, so be sure to follow that as well.
